Project Overview
This project covered export crating for a full set of Caterpillar D6 track assemblies, picked up directly from the customer's site. Each assembly was built into its own wood crate sized and rated for the part, labeled for handling and documentation, then palletized and staged on a flatbed trailer for pickup and onward transport.

What Was Done
- Reviewed the assembly set and confirmed crate dimensions and weight rating for each unit — 920 lbs per crate.
- Built individual wood crates for each track assembly, including a removable panel side for inspection access.
- Labeled every crate with part number, quantity, and weight for handling and documentation (marked “CAT D6 TA TYPE 2 · QTY. 1 EA · 920 LBS”).
- Palletized each crated assembly for forklift handling and stable stacking on the trailer.
- Loaded and secured the full set on a flatbed trailer, sequenced for balanced transport.
